Four ways to join or renew your Art Center membership:

1. Download and print out our application form and fax or mail to:

2. Come in and join in person. For directions and hours, see our information page.

3. Call us at (805) 543-8562. We will sign you up over the phone with a credit card.

4. Send us an email with your membership information

• Meet exhibiting artists—you'll be invited to all opening receptions
• Learn more about creating art—you'll get a discount on adult and children's classes
• Receive monthly "Art News"—articles about what's happening at the Art Center with a calendar of upcoming events.
• If you are an artist:
  • Exhibit and sell your work in our galleries, portfolio bins, or craft cases
  • Participate in special shows
  • Exhibit in business offices
  • Join one or more of the artist groups

• Individual Membership Package
  • Receive all the member benefits
  • Annual membership fee of $30.
• Couple/Family Membership Package
  • Receive member benefits for all members of your immediate household
  • Annual membership fee of $45.
• Student Membership Package
  • Receive all the member benefits
  • Annual membership fee of $20.
  • Must have a valid student ID
• Senior Membership Package
  • Receive all the member benefits
  • Annual membership fee of $25.
  • Must be over 65 years of age
• Business Membership Package
  • Your business will be listed as a supporter of the arts on our website and at the Art Center
  • You will have the opportunity to have art displayed at your business
  • Annual membership fee of $125

As a member of the Art Center, you are eligible to join any of the special interest groups. Monthly gatherings include demonstrations, workshops, field trips, and guest lectures. The Art Center's groups give artists a forum for sharing ideas and artistic adventures.

Groups regularly sponsor member exhibits.
Members pay an additional $10.00 for group dues.

Special interest groups are:

• Central Coast Craftmakers
  • Focus on contemporary crafts including clay, glass, fiber, metal, paper, and wood.
• Central Coast Photographic Society
  • Share artistic and technical experiences with other local photographers. Meets every second Tuesday.
• Central Coast Printmakers
  • Concentrate on a variety of printmaking processes including etching, lithography, and silk-screening. Meets the second Sunday of the month.
• Central Coast Watercolor Society
  • Explore both traditional and contemporary use of water media. Meets the last Tuesday of every month. Aquarius call for entries.
• Oil, Pastel, and Acrylic Painters Group
  • Extend your experience in opaque media such as pastel, collage, oil, and acrylic. Meets the third Tuesday of every month. Click here for directions on how to prepare CDs and Enthusiastic Encaustic Call for Entries
    
• Central Coast Sculptors
  • Meets regularly at the Art Center and in sculptor's studios to promote sculptors and the exhibition of sculpture in the central coast.
